When I operated at a paper job right out of college, a woman called our sports editor daily trying to obtain her college-grad child a job. She would also drop by as well as hand over his return to and ask to talk with the editor. My 22-year-old self was horrified on his part. It's understandable that a moms and dad would certainly desire their child to do well, but there are limitations to what you can do on their behalf. This clearly pressed passed those limits. |
