Hubungan Career Optimism dan Social Support dengan Career Adaptability Mahasiswa Pengguna Layanan Career Development Center UNS

Abstract


Studi ini didasarkan pada pemikiran bahwa perencanaan dan sikap adaptif menjadi sangat penting bagi mahasiswa untuk mengatasi tantangan dalam transisi college-to-work. Tujuan studi adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara career optimism dan social support dengan career adaptability. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan uji korelasi ganda dan uji korelasi parsial. Populasi yang dipilih yaitu mahasiswa aktif Universitas Sebelas Maret pengguna layanan Career Development Center UNS dengan teknik purposive sampling dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 105 mahasiswa. Instrumen dalam studi ini adalah skala career adaptability, skala career optimism, dan skala social support. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi ganda terdapat hubungan kuat yang signifikan ant ara career optimism dan social support dengan career adaptability. Career optimism dan social support secara bersamaan menyumbang sebesar 49,4% terhadap career adaptability. Sedangkan, hasil uji parsial menunjukkan adanya hubungan kuat yang signifikan antara career optimism dengan career adaptability, sementara antara social support dengan career adaptability tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan.
