Upaya Kepala Sekolah Sebagai Supervisor Untuk Meningkatkan Kompetensi Profesional Guru Dalam Mengajar Bidang Pendidikan Agama Islam Di Smk Negeri 1 Purwakarta
Abstract
In order to improve the quality of the level of education, it is very necessary implementation supervision. Education is necessary supervision activities by teachers, for teachers who work every day in school no one else closer and knows of in all activities, unless the Principal. The Teacher is a determining factor for the low quality of education outcomes. In the framework of the implementation of the educational supervision, programs should include components related and affect the success of educational supervision programs. The success of the visits of the components of planning, implementation, and impact of educational supervision programs. Principal in carrying out its duties and responsibilities as a supervisor effectively, the Principal has the competence that is humanitarian, managerial, and. technical.
The purpose of this study was to determine the principal program as a Supervisor, the implementation of the principal as Supervisor and evaluation or monitoring headmaster as supervisor to improve the Teacher Professional competence in the field of teaching of Islamic Religious Education at SMK Negeri 1 Purwakarta. In this study used purposive sampling method. Sugiyono (2010: 300) "purposive sampling is a sampling technique of data sources with particular consideration".
Results from this study is the Program Principal As Supervisor to improve the professional competence of Master in Teaching field of Islamic education is doing academic supervision consisting of syllabus development, the preparation of lesson plans and the implementation of learning and to encourage teachers PAI to actively pursue the upgrading or academic activity, Workshop and the Working Group activity PAI PAI for the learning process in SMK Purwakarta run smoothly and achieve the desired objectives in addition to these activities, too, Teachers are required to deepen their knowledge through the higher learning Again ". As the implementation of the Program Principal Supervisor to improve the professional competence of Master in Teaching Islamic Education field proven in practice so that teachers can carry out duties as an educator very effectively. the implementation of the learning process in SMK Negeri 1 Purwakarta classified into instructional planning, implementation of KBM (Teaching and Learning) and the evaluation of student learning outcomes. Monitoring and Evaluation Program conducted by the Principal each end of learning, to enhance the professional competence of teachers in teaching Islamic education so as to achieve what is the vision, mission, and objectives of the School. evaluation and monitoring are done to anticipate the possibility of misuse or maintenance which is not in accordance with the purpose of education.
