Abstrak

Sejak Desember 2019 terjadi wabah penyakit COVID=19 di Kota Wuhan Cina yang menyebabkan penyebaran virus ini di seluruh dunia. Salah satu tempat yang berisiko tinggi terhadap penyebaran COVID-19 adalah fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan. Puskesmas merupakan fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan garda depan dalam masa pandemi COVID-19. Salah satunya adalah Puskesmas Perawatan 24 Jam Klandasan Ilir Kota Balikpapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan selama Februari 2022. Sampel penelitian yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah pimpinan puskesmas, petugas kesehatan dan non-kesehatan, pasien, serta pengantar pasien di Puskesmas Klandasan Ilir kota Balikpapan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, yaitu pengendalian infeksi dan protokol kesehatan di masa pandemi COVID-19 yang dilakukan oleh pimpinan puskesmas, petugas kesehatan dan non-kesehatan, pasien, serta pengantar pasien di Puskesmas Klandasan Ilir Kota Balikpapan dalam kategori baik. Namun, masih perlu peningkatan sarana prasarana, sosialisasi monitoring Pencegahan dan Pengendalian Infeksi (PPI), serta sosialisasi protokol kesehatan di masa COVID-19.

Management Analysis Control Infections COVID-19 of Health Service (Facilities Case Study in Puskesmas Klandasan Ilir Balikpapan)

 

Abstract

The virus of COVID-19 has been spreading worldwide since its first outbreak in the city of Wuhan, China in December 2019. One of the environments with a high risk transmitting of COVID-19 is health care facility. Public healthcare (Puskesmas) is the frontline health service facility during the COVID-19 pandemic. One of them is Puskesmas Klandasan Ilir Balikpapan. This study uses a descriptive analysis method with a quantitative approach during February 2022. . The research samples taken in this study were the head of puskesmas, health and non-health workers, patients, and patient’s accompanist in Puskesmas Klandasan Ilir Balikpapan. The results obtained of infection control and health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic carried out by the head of puskesmas, health and non-health workers, patients and patient’s accompanists in Puskesmas Klandasan Ilir Balikpapan are in the category of good. In conclusion, it is still necessary to improve infrastructure, socialization and monitoring of Infection Prevention Control (IPC), as well as socialization of health protocols during the COVID-19 era.
