Rancangan Konseling Kedukaan Berbasis Islam untuk Orangtua Pascakematian Anak

Kematian anak dapat memberikan pengaruh yang sangat signifikan terhadap kehidupan dan kesehatan mental orangtua. Hal ini adalah kondisi yang jauh lebih menekan daripada kematian pasangan. Bagi para orangtua Muslim, pada dasarnya mereka sudah memiliki petunjuk-petunjuk hidup dari Al-Qur’an dan Hadist tentang bagaimana seharusnya dalam menghadapi kedukaan. Namun, kedukaan dan dampak psikologis yang terjadi tidak dapat dihindari. Untuk dapat mengatasi hal ini, sebenarnya telah ada metode intervensi psikologis berupa konseling dan psikoterapi kedukaan. Hanya saja, para Muslim memiliki kebutuhan yang berbeda yang belum dapat terjawab oleh intervensi yang sudah ada. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan rancangan intervensi berupa konseling kedukaan berbasis Islam dengan cara melakukan modifikasi intervensi yang menggabungkan konsep dasar konseling kedukaan dari barat dan pandangan para tokoh cendikiawan Muslim sehingga akan terbentuk sebuah model intervensi baru yang bersifat khusus untuk membantu para orangtua Muslim dalam mengatasi kedukaan yang mereka rasakan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development yang dilakukan pada bulai Mei sampai dengan Agustus 2022 dengan jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 6 orang. Kriteria subjek adalah orangtua yang mengalami kedukaan pascakematian anak, beragama Islam, dan berusia 20–40 tahun. Terhadap subjek-subjek tersebut dilakukan asesmen berupa wawancara untuk menganalisis kebutuhan. Kemudian, hasil analisis kebutuhan diintegrasikan dengan modifikasi konsep konseling kedukaan yang sudah ada serta pandangan para cendikiawan Muslim tentang cara mengatasi kedukaan sehingga menghasilkan model intervensi baru yang bersifat khusus untuk para orangtua Muslim yang mengalami kedukaan.
Counseling Islamic Grief Design Based to Parents after Child Mortality
Abstract
The death of a child can have a very significant impact on the lives and mental health of parents. This is a more stressful than the death of a spouse. For Muslim parents, basically they already have guidance from the Qur'an and Hadith about how to deal with grief. However, grief and the psychological impact that occurs cannot be avoided. To be able to overcome this, there are actually methods of psychological intervention in the form of counseling and grief psychotherapy. However, Muslims have different needs that have not been answered by existing interventions. The purpose of this study is to produce an intervention design in the form of Islamic-based grief counseling by modifying the intervention that combines the basic concepts of western grief counseling and the views of Muslim intellectuals so that a new intervention model that is specific to help Muslim parents overcome their grief will be formed. they feel. The design of the research is research and development conducted from May to August 2022 with a total of 6 research subjects. Subject criteria are parents who experience grief after the death of their child, are Muslim, and are aged 20-40 years. The subjects were assessed in the form of interviews to analyze needs. Then, the results of the needs analysis were integrated with a modification of the existing grief counseling concept and the views of Muslim scholars on how to deal with grief so as to produce a new intervention model that is specific to Muslim parents who experience grief after the death of a child.
