lahir di Cirebon, 31 Agustus 1960. Dosen tetap Fikom Unisba ini adalah lulusan Program S1 Fikom Unpad, 1986. Kini, telah menyelesaikan S2, juga di Unpad. Sebelumnya, ia senpat mencicipi dunia kerja "salesman" (1982-1989), dan menjadi guru di Sekolah menengah ilmu Pariwisata (SMIP) Shandy Putra, Bandung (1989). Ia banyak menulis karya ilmiah. Salah satu tulisannya, "Peranan Grapevine sebagai Sumber Informasi bagi Pimpinan," pernah keluar sebagai Juara I pada Lomba Karya TuIis Ilmiah Dosen Unisba (1994), selain beberapa kali meojadi finalis pada event sejenis. Selain itu, ia juga banyak melakukan penelitian, antara lain: "Peranan Komunikasi keluarga terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa SLTP seBandung" (1989); "Sikap Siswa SLTA se-Jawa Barat terbadap Kesenian Wayang Golek sebagai Media Komunikasi Tradisional (1990); dan "Peranan Rekabentuk Surat Kabar terbadap Minat Beli Mabasiswa."
