Lahir di Raha Sulawesi Tenggara, 29 September 1971, adalah dosen jurusan komunikasi FISIP Unbersitas Haluoleo-Kendari. Pendidikan Sarjana (S1) diselesaikan di Jurusan Komunikasi, Universitas Sam Ratulangi, Mando, Sulut, tahun 1996. Pendidikan Magister diselesaikan di Pascasarjana Universitas Padjadjaran, Bandung tahun 2008. Selain aktivitas ilmiah di Kampus, dia juga aktif menulis buku, dan artikel dalam jurnal ilmiah dan media cetak, kegiatan seminar, workshop dan lokakarya, baik ditingkat  local, regional, nasional dan  internasional diantaranya Direktur Manajemen Strategis-Taktik Kampanye, 2007-sekarang. Menulis buku, Komunikasi Pembangunan, Pendekatan Terpadu, diterbitkan Simbiosa, Bandung, tahun 2007 dan Meneliti pengaruh iklan kosmetik di Televisi terhadap perilaku pembelian kosmetik ibu rumah tangga di Kendari, dibiayai Program Semi Que IV, Dikti, tahun 2004.
